Christ’s resurrection allowed Christ to ascend to the Father, and there be our advocate and to intercede on our behalf before the throne of God. After Christ’s resurrection and ascension, He sent the Holy Spirit to convict the world of sin and to indwell the saints. Christ’s resurrection and ascension prompts the saints to set their sights on Him and to follow Him.
